“We didn’t deserve to win this game and they outplayed us. That’s just the fact of the matter.” -Nick Saban after Alabama’s 43-37 loss to Ole Miss.
On starting Cooper Bateman QB: “We have had a lot of confidence and played both guys throughout the season. We had some things in the game plan early where the quarterback was going to pull the ball and we thought the speed of Cooper might be a little better for that.”
On interceptions thrown: “I think the one that Cooper threw was probably not a good judgement to try to get in there.”
On turnovers: “Obviously when you have five turnovers in a game and you don’t get any, it’s hard to win.”
Saban’s first words to the media: “Look, this is a little disappointing.”
