Nick Saban will step on another field next week, and throw out the first pitch at an Alabama baseball game.
Saban, who last threw out the first pitch in 2018, will participate in the pregame ceremony ahead of the Crimson Tide’s game against South Alabama on Tuesday. Alabama baseball is 13-9 and 1-2 in SEC play and play Mississippi State this weekend.
The game on Tuesday is set 6 p.m. CT.
Saban’s football team on Wednesday held the first practice in pads on practice No. 3 out of 14 spring practices leading up to the annual A-Day Game. The scrimmage, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 16 at 2 p.m. CT at Bryant Denny-Stadium, will also be streamed live on SEC Network+.

Saban this spring has spoken highly of 3 newcomers, including Kendrick Law, a freshman early enrollee, LSU transfer Eli Ricks, a cornerback, and Georgia Tech transfer Jahmyr Gibbs, a running back.
About Law, Saban said, “He’s a guy that could play multiple positions if that creates value, in your opinion. But he has done a really good job at receiver. He’s got some speed, he’s got some size, he runs good routes, he’s got really good hands.”
