Alabama head coach Nick Saban gave an update wide receiver Aaron Anderson Wednesday afternoon.
The freshman receiver has been practicing and making progress, according to Saban, but he still doesn’t know when he’s going to be ready to play. Saban wants Anderson to feel comfortable and confident, so they are still evaluating him day to day.
Saban on Aaron Anderson (knee): "The guy's practicing. He's making progress. I don't know when he's gonna be ready to play. That's a medical decision. He's gotta feel comfortable and confident that he's ready to go, as well. So it's still up in the air, day-to-day."

The freshman receiver has seen little playing time this season with a knee injury. He is a two-sport athlete, football and track, and came into Alabama as a 4-star out of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Alabama is off to a 3-0 start and is set to start SEC play against Vanderbilt this Saturday.
