Alabama is adding former Colorado linebacker Nikhai Hill-Green, as was reported originally by Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports on Saturday. Hill-Green has had quite the interesting journey, now on his fourth destination after originally starting off his college football career with the Michigan Wolverines after he previously had committed to the UCF Knights.

From there, he joined the Charlotte 49ers before heading to Colorado to become a member of the Buffaloes. This is a big get for the Crimson Tide after Hill-Green was one of the best available linebackers in the transfer portal totaling 82 tackles and 2 sacks at Colorado for the 2024 season.

As a recruit, Hill-Green was originally listed by the 247Sports Composite as a 4-star prospect, ranked as the No. 23 outside linebacker in the nation for his class and the No. 12 overall player in the state of Maryland.

It will be interesting to see what type of impact he is able to make in Tuscaloosa as he takes the field at his first SEC destination after such a well-traveled journey to this point. Over the entirety of his career, he tallies 206 combined tackles (136 solo), 8 passes defended, 4 sacks, 2 interceptions and 1 forced fumble.

He can build upon that here.
