A few days ago, four-star RB Cam Akers announced he was de-committing from Alabama and reopening his recruitment for next year.

Rivals.com reported Akers flipped to Georgia, but the 5-foot-11, 210 pound junior out of Clinton, Miss. made it clear that wasn’t the case.

Rivals has since deleted the tweet that reported Akers committed to Georgia.

Akers recruitment is open, and since de-committing from Alabama, he has retweeted the love from Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and Tennessee. Akers also offers from Auburn, LSU and Vanderbilt.
