Notre Dame has added a blue-chip lineman to its 2026 recruiting class.
Gregory Patrick committed to the Fighting Irish on Sunday. He shared the big news with Hayes Fawcett of On3.
Patrick is listed as measuring over 6-4 and 275 pounds. Out of Portage (Michigan) Northern High School, he is rated 4-stars, the No. 2 player in the state of Michigan, No. 16 offensive tackle and No. 174 prospect overall in the Class of 2026 on the 247Sports Composite.
Patrick has collected scholarship offers from 23 programs. Alabama, Baylor, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Stanford, Washington and Wisconsin were among the programs to show interest.
Being from Michigan, Patrick gave strong consideration to playing in the Big Ten. He told Fawcett that he chose the Irish over Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State.
With Patrick on board, Marcus Freeman’s staff now has 10 prospects verbally pledged for 2026. The class is ranked No. 6 nationally on the Composite.
