Parents in the Big Ten are understandably upset at commissioner Kevin Warren for postponing the fall football season without much transparency.

Warren issued further comments on Wednesday, but a group of parents, led by Randy Wade (father of Ohio State CB Shaun Wade), still aren’t satisfied.

Randy Wade is still planning a peaceful protest at Big Ten headquarters on Friday, and spoke with ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg to call out Warren’s son, Powers, who is a receiver at Mississippi State:

What Randy Wade and apparently other Big Ten parents don’t seem to understand is that Powers Warren is an adult. He’s over the age of 18, and thus, can decide what he wants to do for himself, regardless of decisions his father has made for the Big Ten.

If Wade and other parents want to protest the Big Ten, that’s understandable, but they should leave Powers, who is an adult who can make his own decisions, out of it.
