As one would expect, numerous teams were after Fasusi. During his recruitment, he collected scholarship offers from 37 programs, including Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State, Tennessee and USC.

Fasusi took visits in May and June then narrowed his big decision down to a final five of Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, Mizzou and Oregon in July. On Wednesday, he had hats on the table for the Sooners, Longhorns and Aggies.

With Fasusi on board, Brent Venables’ staff now has 23 verbal commitments for 2025 ahead of the 2024 season. The class is ranked No. 7 in the SEC and No. 8 nationally on the Composite.
