Oklahoma suffered an 83-82 loss to Kentucky on Wednesday night, harming the Sooners’ chances at making the NCAA Tournament. It was a big win for the Wildcats, who got some last-second heroics from Otega Oweh to seal the victory.

In the aftermath of the win, as Kentucky players were celebrating coming off the court, an Oklahoma fan appears to have thrown a beer can at Brandon Garrison.

You can see something, which is reportedly a beer can, whiz by Garrison’s head, drawing his attention immediately:

Fortunately, the Kentucky staff did a great job getting the players to the locker room before anything could escalate further. It remains to be seen what happens next and if Oklahoma launches an investigation into the incident.

Kentucky improved to 19-9 (8-7 in SEC play) with the win. Oklahoma fell to 17-11 (4-11) with the disappointing loss. Kentucky faces No. 1 Auburn in Lexington on Saturday, while the Sooners pay a visit to Oxford to take on Ole Miss.

With Selection Sunday only a couple of weeks away, it’ll be important for both teams to take advantage of their remaining games to bolster their NCAA Tournament résumés and improve their SEC Tournament seeding for what will surely be an intense trip to Nashville.
