Oklahoma is dealing with a lengthy injury report ahead of its Week 5 matchup with the Auburn Tigers.

The Sooners are trying to get back on a winning track after falling to Tennessee at home in Week 4. Unfortunately, the team will have to try and get a win without several notable players.

Wide receivers Jayden Gibson, Jalil Farooq, and Nic Anderson have all been ruled out, as have defensive backs Gentry Williams and Kendel Dolby. Offensive lineman Geirean Hatchett and kicker Tyler Keltner have also been ruled out.

With Keltner out, it appears Zach Schmit will be the kicker against Auburn. Schmit was OU’s starting kicker in 2022 and 2023, but was just 27-of-39 on field goals over that span.

Receiver Andrel Anthony and running back Taylor Tatum are listed as doubtful for the Sooners, while linebacker Dasan McCullough and WR Deion Burks are listed as questionable. Finally, OL Jake Taylor is listed as probable for the matchup.

Auburn’s injury report is much smaller. DBs Tyler Scott and Champ Anthony have been ruled out, as has tight end Brandon Frazier. DL Isaiah Rakes, K Alex McPherson, and OL Izavion Miller are all listed as questionable.

The Sooners have dealt with injury issues at WR and OL all season, so it’s not surprising to see the trend continue this week.

Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on Saturday afternoon.
