Georgia and Ole Miss have each had their issues in going back and forth during Saturday’s matchup in Oxford. But one issue the two teams particularly had in common had nothing to do with football and everything to do with a squirrel.

The game was briefly delayed early in the second quarter after a squirrel ran onto the field.

It’s safe to say some players like Georgia quarterback Carson Beck were a little but spooked by the squirrel, who looked like he was ready to suit up himself. Here’s a look at the moment, which occurred at the top of the second quarter.

And this is not the first time a squirrel has caused issues within The Grove, as the appearances of the bushy-tailed creatures is becoming something of a trend. The last time a squirrel made an appearance in an Ole Miss game was just weeks ago, when the Rebels took on the Oklahoma Sooners.

Ole Miss leads Georgia in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, 16-7 at the half.
