Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze is now 3-1 against rival Mississippi State, courtesy of the Rebels’ 38-27 win over the Bulldogs in the 2015 Egg Bowl.
Freeze’s shared these thoughts after the win.
Via ESPN2:
On the Ole Miss defensive line: “I thought that was our advantage. I thought they played well. You don’t give up something to Dak (Prescott). He’s that big of a competitor, but our d-line played well.”
On Rebels QB Chad Kelly: “He plays within the system most of the time; he makes some plays. He’s such a competitor and he prepares very, very well.”
On the Golden Egg remaining in Oxford: “It means everything to our entire fans and our program. We live with each other. We go to church with each other. It’s so important to our program.”
Freeze points out #OleMiss is a fourth-and-25 lateral from SEC championship game. Says he believes Rebels would win if there.

Freeze says he respects Dak Prescott and is glad Dak is moving on. Says he didn’t think Dak was pressing early, says #OleMiss got after him.

Freeze says last two games have proven #OleMiss is worthy of a New Year’s Six bowl. Says he’d like another shot at that.
