Ole Miss lands commit from three-star offensive lineman Lavante Epson

The 2017 Ole Miss recruiting class added a big piece Wednesday evening as Greenville, Miss., offensive lineman Lavante Epson committed to the Rebels over offers from Mississippi State and Alabama.

Epson took to Twitter to announce the news:

The 6-foot-3, 315-pound Epson is rated as a three-star prospect, the No. 10 overall prospect from Mississippi and the No. 22 offensive guard in the nation, according to 247Sports. Aside from scholarship offers from Alabama and Mississippi State, Epson also has offers from Tennessee and Cal.

Following Epson’s commitment, Ole Miss now has seven total prospects pledged to its 2017 recruiting class.
