Ole Miss lands transfer commitment from talented B1G offensive lineman

Ole Miss is traditionally busy during the transfer portal windows. After landing a cornerback on Saturday, it has now brought in an offensive lineman from the Big Ten.
Terez Davis, a true freshman with Maryland in 2024 who saw immediate action, has committed to the Rebels, according to a report from On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Davis, a standout at national power DeMatha Catholic, signed with the Terrapins out of the class of 2024, getting on the field right away as he saw time in 10 games, starting twice at left tackle. Out of over 300 snaps played, he allowed just one sack, he noted in a post announcing his entry into the portal.
Now, he will head to the SEC to play for Ole Miss. The Rebels are already set at left tackle with Jayden Williams and Diego Pounds, with Pounds patrolling that part of the line while Williams recovered from injury. We’ll see how Davis fits into the rotation, but at the very least, he’ll learn under a pair of accomplished, veteran players.
This is the second player of the day to commit to Ole Miss out of the portal. The Rebels have also captured a pledge from cornerback Ricky Fletcher (South Alabama).
Ole Miss currently has the No. 3 transfer haul in the country, per 247Sports, continuing Lane Kiffin‘s sustained run of success with the portal.
