Ole Miss launches back-to-back-to-back jacks in 8th inning to take commanding lead over Oklahoma

Ole Miss has pulled away in the College World Series.

The Rebels let the Sooners hang around for 7 innings, but 8 is where they draw the line.

T.J. McCants started the fun for the Rebels. He blasted a 2-run homer to right field, straight to freshman pitcher Josh Mallitz in the bullpen.

Then, Calvin Harris decided to leave the yard.

Why not one more? Jacob Bench was the next Rebel to go yard, and just like that the underdogs had taken an 8-2 lead with 6 outs remaining in Game 1.

Seems good, wouldn’t you say?
