Ole Miss has pulled away in the College World Series.
The Rebels let the Sooners hang around for 7 innings, but 8 is where they draw the line.
T.J. McCants started the fun for the Rebels. He blasted a 2-run homer to right field, straight to freshman pitcher Josh Mallitz in the bullpen.
What was better: @mccants_tj‘s homer or @joshmallitz‘s catch?

Why not one more? Jacob Bench was the next Rebel to go yard, and just like that the underdogs had taken an 8-2 lead with 6 outs remaining in Game 1.
