The senior linebacker suffered the injury on Oct. 3 against Florida, and was supposed to be out 4-6 weeks. But his recovery has been quicker than expected.
Johnson has made 17 tackles in four games this season. He has also picked off two passes.
The 24th-ranked Rebels (5-2) will host No. 15 Texas A&M (5-1) on Saturday. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. Eastern, and will be shown on ESPN.
