Ole Miss made its first big addition of the spring transfer portal window on Wednesday morning.

Former Clemson cornerback Tavoy Feagin has committed to the Rebels. Feagin, a former 4-star recruit, had an Ole Miss offer out of high school but initially chose to sign with Dabo Swinney and the Tigers.

But after spending 1 year at Clemson, Feagin is headed to Ole Miss. He shared the news of his commitment with On3’s Hayes Fawcett on Wednesday:

Feagin was very highly-recruited out of high school. He was the No. 275 overall player and the No. 25 cornerback in the class of 2024. A Florida native, Feagin also had offers from programs like Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame and plenty more.

However, Feagin didn’t see much playing time in his lone season at Clemson. He played a total of 11 snaps and didn’t record any statistics during the 2024 campaign, which he redshirted.

At Ole Miss, Feagin will likely have more opportunity to come in and contribute. The Rebels lost a lot of key players from their secondary last season, so it’s possible he could earn an immediate role with the Rebels.

Feagin is the 24th transfer to commit to Ole Miss so far this offseason. The class as a whole ranks No. 3 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

Feagin has 4 years of eligibility remaining.
