Ole Miss set to hire former Pac-12 DC as analyst, per report

Ole Miss is set to hire former UCLA and UConn defensive coordinator Lou Spanos as an analyst. Spanos spent last season with the Huskies and has been on staff at UConn since 2019.
He has a lot of experience as an assistant coach, too. Spanos was UCLA’s defensive coordinator from 2012-2013 before accepting a job as LBs coach for the Tennessee Titans. He then worked at Alabama as an assistant before heading to Storrs to work with the Huskies. He served as interim head coach for the Huskies in 2021 before returning to DC under Jim Mora.

Lane Kiffin has been everywhere this offseason reworking his coaching staff. The Rebels recently hired former Arkansas State assistant Jake Schoonover to coach special teams. Kiffin also hired Pete Golding to be the team’s next DC just over 2 months ago.
