Ole Miss is gearing up for a tough SEC matchup in Week 9 against Oklahoma. The No. 18 Rebels desperately need a win as the team is sitting at 1-2 in conference play thus far

Ahead of the matchup, the team revealed the uniform combo that will be worn on Saturday. The team is going with the classic home digs, but the helmets are special. The team is debuting a new blue camouflage helmet for this matchup.

Fans may remember the team wearing a similar helmet in 2022. That helmet was white with blue camo, while the new version is the opposite. The helmet was inspired by Realtree founder Bill Jordan, who graduated from Ole Miss and played on the football team.

When the team last wore camo helmets, they were paired with the powder blue jerseys. The Rebels are pairing the traditional navy jersey and gray pants with the helmets for this matchup.

These new helmets were announced back in September, but now we get to see them up close. This will be the 3rd time the Rebels are wearing navy helmets in 2024.

The team will be looking good, but playing good will be more important. The Rebels have conference losses to Kentucky and LSU, so losing to a floundering Oklahoma team would be a disaster. The Rebels still have a matchup against No. 2 Georgia on the schedule after this matchup.

The Rebels and Sooners will kick off from Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday at Noon ET.
