Freeze puzzled by Wallace’s first half interceptions against Boise

Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze seemed puzzled after a 35-13 win over Boise State Thursday night.
The Rebels outscored Boise 28-7 in the fourth quarter to put the game out of reach, but three first half interceptions by senior quarterback Bo Wallace left Freeze and the Rebels’ fan base scratching their heads.
According to Bleacher Report’s Barrett Sallee, two of those interceptions came on throws that weren’t even part of the play’s design.
Freeze: “Two of the three interceptions were unbelievable to us because they weren’t even in the progression.”

The Ole Miss quarterback redeemed himself with three touchdowns and zero interceptions in the second half as the Rebels pulled away to win comfortably.
