“The crowd is crazy in Neyland, everyone knows. I can’t wait to get into Neyland and experience with the crowd,” Thomas said about the crowd energy. “(Vol Nation) plays a big factor in the game, as well. Just as much as us knowing what we need to do, them being out there, that plays a big factor.”
The energy in the stadium plays a big role in the vibes on the field, as Thomas mentioned in his interview with the media.
Neyland Stadium will also be debuting a newly-renovated stadium which will “feature two new state-of-the-art videoboards on the north and south ends, a lower-west premium club, enhanced chairback seating in multiple lower-west sections and a party deck social gathering space on the upper north end,” per UTSports.com.
Vol Nation should be excited to see the new upgrades and how their team will start this season off.
The Vols will open up their season on Thursday night against Ball State at Neyland Stadium at 7 p.m. ET. In a first time meeting with these two teams, the excitement should be without question.
