On the move: Former Mizzou standout Sheldon Richardson signs new NFL deal

After two seasons in Cleveland, Sheldon Richardson is going back to Minnesota.
The Vikings announced Tuesday that they have signed the former Mizzou standout. A first-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, Richardson has played for four teams during his pro career.
Richardson spent his first four seasons with the New York Jets. He was traded to the Seattle Seahawks in September 2017. He signed a one-year deal with Minnesota in 2018. He recorded 4.5 sacks and 16 quarterback hits that season as a Viking.
In March of 2019, Richardson signed a three-year deal with the Browns for $36 million with $21 million guaranteed. During his two seasons in Cleveland, Richard played in 32 games (31 starts), recording 120 total tackles, including 7.5 sacks. He was released in April.
In his career, Richardson has logged 435 tackles, including 31 sacks.
