Oregon State just delivered the strangest highlight of the week in a pick-6 you must see to believe. Fortunately, the replay made its way to social media because that game vs. Purdue is being broadcast on the CW.

The action in Corvallis has gotten off to a slow start, save for the aforementioned pick-6. Zakaih Saez is the Beaver behind the remarkable play, but it goes deeper than your everyday run-of-the-mill interception.

The play started with Purdue quarterback Hudson Card trying to throw a swing pass and Saez getting a hand up to bat the pass away. That’s when the chaos ensues with the ball bouncing off the heel of the Boilermaker running back and directly into Saez’s hands.

Whether that’s a lucky bounce or not is up for you to decide, but Saez did not miss a beat in rolling 20 yards for the pick-6. Check it out:

Traditionally a pass rusher, it is the first interception and touchdown for Saez. His pick-6 also jumpstarted Oregon State to an early 14-0 lead over Purdue, and we’ll see if the Beavers can keep that up Saturday night.
