During his Monday presser, LSU interim head coach Ed Orgeron divulged a bit about the status of injured running back Leonard Fournette:
#LSU coach Ed Orgeron: Leonard is a different cat. He has high character, team guy. He was happy to see us have success.

Orgeron: Leonard Fournette is day-to-day, likely won't practice Monday and Tuesday. Say he doesn't know if they'll have him vs. Fla. #LSU

LSU looked great in Orgeron’s debut last week in the 42-7 thumping of Missouri. Running back Derrius Guice rushed for 163 yards and three touchdowns on only 17 carries, and the Tigers accrued an eye-popping 634 yards of total offense — whilst holding Mizzou to 265 yards.
Fournette didn’t feature in the victory. While the offense was highly productive in his absence, Fournette is still one of — if not the most dynamic back in the country.
Against a very beaten-up Florida defense this upcoming weekend, Fournette (if healthy) could be in line for a massive game.
