Oxford Police Department apologizes for trolling LSU, Ed Orgeron via Twitter

The Oxford Police Department has jokes.
The infamous Twitter handle trolled LSU and Ed Orgeron when the news was announced about his hiring earlier today.
“LOLSU #YAWYAWYAW,” a tweet from the Oxford Police originally read. It has since been deleted, and the department issued an apology.
We apologize to LSU Nation for our tweet earlier about Coach Orgeron. We wish him the best as Head Coach of LSU.

Orgeron was Ole Miss’ head coach from 2005-07, compiling a 10-25 record, including 3-21 in the SEC.
Perhaps the department forgot about LSU and Orgeron beating the Rebels 38-21 this season.
A graduate of the University of Florida and founder of Saturday Down South, Kevin is a college football enthusiast.
