Packers announce ex-Auburn DT Montravius Adams to miss time with foot fracture

The Green Bay Packers have announced that DT Montravius Adams will miss significant time with a stress fracture in his foot.
The former Auburn Tigers lineman was selected in the third round, 93rd overall, by the Packers in this April’s draft. Adams was competing for playing time with a Green Bay defensive front that is still looking to get stronger ever since the departure of B.J. Raji.
There is no immediate timetable for Adams’ return. Ian Rapoport also reports Adams will likely need a screw to repair the stress fracture.

Adams played 52 games with 26 consecutive starts during his time at Auburn. He finished his career with 11 sacks 21 tackles for loss.
His most productive season was his senior campaign. He started all 13 games with 44 total tackles, 4.5 sacks, 8.5 tackles for loss, and an interception. Adams was named to the All-SEC team while also being named a second-team All-American.
