Parker Brailsford will be back at Alabama in 2025.

The former Washington transfer was eligible to enter the 2025 NFL Draft, but will instead return to Tuscaloosa for another season at Alabama. He still has 2 years of collegiate eligibility remaining.

He shared the news of his return with Alabama beat writers on Thursday:

Brailsford played for Kalen DeBoer for 2 seasons at Washington before transferring to Alabama. He redshirted in 2022 but played a big role on Washington’s College Football Playoff team. He started 13 games that season and was part of an offensive line that took home the Joe Moore Award.

Brailsford earned Alabama’s starting center job upon arrival in Tuscaloosa. He started all 12 regular season games for the Tide this season. He was expected to be one of the top centers available in the 2025 draft class had he chosen to turn pro.

Instead, his return gives a big boost to an Alabama program that will be hoping to take a big step forward next season. The Tide went 9-3 in Year 1 under DeBoer, narrowly missing out on the College Football Playoff. Looking ahead to next season, Alabama will surely hope to have a team capable of contending for a national title.
