Paul Finebaum talks where Alabama stands in the CFP discussion

The College Football Playoff picture experienced yet another shakeup over the weekend with some surprise outcomes, including LSU’s fall to Texas A&M.
A 2-loss Alabama team is still on the outside looking in, but technically still has a slim chance of getting in. College football analyst Paul Finebaum recently weighed in on the Crimson Tide’s case for making it into the postseason mix, saying he would give Ohio State the No. 5 spot before Alabama.
“Clearly Alabama has better strength of schedule, but I can’t put somebody in because they have good losses,” Finebaum said. “One thing you have to remember about Alabama, why aren’t we talking about them versus Tennessee? Tennessee beat Alabama and beat LSU. Alabama lost to LSU three weeks after losing to Tennessee and the one thing Alabama did not have to do that I think the committee had ought to consider is they didn’t have to play Georgia, the best team in the country.”
It will be interesting to see how things shake out now that the regular season has come to a close.
