Penn State gets savagely trolled for hilariously awful Super Bowl graphic

Penn State looked to take advantage of the Super Bowl this weekend to promote how many Nittany Lions have played in the marquee event. But the image the program tweeted fell flat, and a flood of social media commenters took full advantage.
The original tweet was that Penn State claimed that “A Penn Stater has appeared in EVERY Super Bowl,” but just below that, in very small print, was, “Except for five since 1967.”
By Friday afternoon, it had nearly 3,000 retweets and more than 700 replies.
Plenty of fans also used the opportunity to troll another school, such as Texas or Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh.
