Pete Golding raves about Trinidad Chambliss: ‘He works his butt off’

Pete Golding and the Ole Miss Rebels are 3-0 after last week’s incredible victory over LSU last week. A huge reason why the Rebels won was because of quarterback Trinidad Chambliss. The star quarterback finished with 363 yards and 2 touchdown passes, while also adding the eventual game-winning touchdown run.
Chambliss is obviously one of the most talented players in college football, but Golding says the work ethic that Chambliss has shown is one of his best traits as a player.
“He is an elite competitor,” Golding said on the Rich Eisen Show. “People forget, those first two games of last year, he wasn’t the starter. His attention to detail, focus, and the positive leadership on our team. I hope my two boys, you know, one day can be talked about in the way that I talk about him.”
The work doesn’t stop in the SEC, and the Rebels will once again be in one of the biggest games of the weekend when they travel to Gainesville to take on the undefeated Florida Gators. The Rebels are getting much of the talk in the college football world, but the Gators have been one of the most surprising teams under first-year coach Jon Sumrall.
The Gators have a ton of offensive talent, and they are playing at a level that a Florida team hasn’t played at in quite some time.
Last week, the Rebels were in the friendly confines of home. Now, the Rebels are going to look to their leader Chambliss when they enter ‘The Swamp’.
