There are plenty of things to argue about in light of the news about Peyton Manning’s impending retirement.

Is he the greatest quarterback of all-time? Should he have played one more season? Does he deserve the credit he’s getting for the Super Bowl 50 title given his performance in 2015?

But the one thing that isn’t up for debate is Manning’s place atop the list of NFL players when it comes to career earnings.

At more than $248 million accrued during his 18-year career, Manning is unmatched when it comes to on-field earnings. His younger brother, Eli, ranks second on the list at $187.7 million.

Spotrac.com Tweeted out the NFL’s Top 10 in career earnings as of Sunday morning:

Back in November, Business Insider released a ranking of the Top 25 career earners in NFL history.

Here’s a look at where SEC alumni ranked on that list, with their earnings total as of November 2015:

1. Peyton Manning, Tennessee ($244.7 mil)
2. Eli Manning, Ole Miss ($187.8 mil)
17. Champ Bailey, Georgia ($102.8 mil)
23. Richard Seymour, Georgia ($97 mil)
24. Jay Cutler, Vanderbilt ($96.2 mil)

If there’s one thing to take away from these rankings, it’s that all you dads out there need to be training your kids to be quarterbacks.
