Photo: Alabama RB Najee Harris visits Tuscaloosa school, reads to children
Najee Harris is already a beloved figure in Tuscaloosa.
The Alabama freshman running back was the best prep rusher in the country this past season. Coming to Alabama from Northern California, Harris is hoping to be the next great Crimson Tide running back.
Based upon his most recent act, he’s also may be running to become the Mayor of Tuscaloosa:

Harris stopped by The Rise School — a school catering to children with physical and learning disabilities. The school was greatly supported by former head coach Gene Stallings and his family.
Though many of the youngsters probably didn’t know of Harris before he visited, the running back surely now has gained a few more fans.
