College football attempted to push its brand overseas this season, slating an opening-weekend game between Georgia Tech and Boston College in Dublin, Ireland.
It looks like the sport has reached France too.

A French newspaper featured a writeup on last Saturday’s Battle at Bristol, which saw No. 15 Tennessee defeat Virginia Tech 45-24. The game played at Bristol Motor Speedway attracted an NCAA-record crowd of 156,990.
Considering all the hype that went into the game and its actual turnout, it’s no surprise folks overseas took notice.
