When you’ve got a gun named and created after yourself, you know you’re a pretty cool person.
A manufacturer of specialized weaponry called TGC Tactical created “The Archie” — a custom AR-15 rifle in honor of Ole Miss legend Archie Manning.
The serial number REBEL018 is clearly displayed on the gun — after Manning’s No. 18. Phrases such as “Are You Ready,” “Hotty Toddy” and “HDYR” are also on the weapon — which will be auctioned off at the Oxford Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds will go to a good cause.
Manning even showed up to the Abbeville, Miss. location in order to autograph the weapon and pose for pictures with eager fans.
