Former Mississippi State and current Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will be featured on the cover of ESPN Magazine, according to Adam Schefter.

According to the photo, Schefter co-wrote a piece with Ian O’Connor chronicling Prescott taking over as the Cowboys’ starting quarterback in the absence of Tony Romo that will be featured in the upcoming issue.

The former All-SEC quarterback has led Dallas to a 6-1 record and has thrown for 1,773 yards, nine touchdowns and two interceptions on 144 of 221 passing, as well as rushing for 105 yards and four touchdowns on 27 attempts.

On Sunday, Prescott led a successful overtime drive in a 29-23 win over the Philadelphia Eagles.

Prescott connected with former Tennessee tight end Jason Witten on a 5-yard touchdown pass to complete a 12-play, 75-yard drive with 7:48 remaining.
