A fan attending this Saturday’s College GameDay, which took place at Bristol Motor Speedway for the Tennessee-Virginia Tech game, asked for beer money and posted his Venmo account name on a sign. He received more than 400 payments on the money-transferring mobile app, per ESPN reporter Darren Rovell.
Looks like he won’t be having to foot the bill for beer for quite some time.
