The 2016 College Football season has been wild-and-woolly.
When looking at the initial preseason AP Top-25 Poll, there were multiple ranked teams (Ole Miss, Notre Dame, UCLA, Tennessee, Michigan State) that are now no longer anywhere close to being mentioned among the nation’s best.
On the other side of the coin, programs such as Penn State, Wisconsin, and Colorado have come out of nowhere to become Top-10 teams.
This line graph shows the craziness that has been the 2016 season:

When looking at the graph, there’s been one consistent and constant entity: Alabama.
Nick Saban’s team hasn’t budged from the top spot in the poll. Based upon how the Crimson Tide have played this year, it’d be a relative shock to see them relinquish the No. 1 position.
