It’s the Fourth of July and there will be plenty of cookouts throughout the country. For LSU’s live mascot, Mike the Tiger, he devoured a special meal this morning as well.
Mike was diagnosed with spindle cell sarcoma, a type of cancer, on May 23. He has been receiving treatment (which makes him more comfortable) since then, and it’s been estimated that he has less than two years left to live.
Have a happy Fourth of July, Mike. You deserve it.
