The long-time broadcaster, who has been calling SEC games on CBS for 17 years, will be stepping down from that role following this season. He’ll be broadcasting the Kentucky-Florida game at 3:30 p.m. today, and Wildcats coach Mark Stoops made sure to give Lundquist a parting gift.
Lundquist will still cover men’s basketball and golf for the network, but he’s sure to continue receiving gifts from the SEC football teams he covered for nearly two decades.
