Alabama coach Nick Saban arguably is the best recruiter in the country.
The Tide is chasing six consecutive seasons as the No. 1-ranked recruiting team according to the 247Sports composite rankings. Apparently the Tide have procured a helicopter to help with that pursuit.

I'm told Nick Saban will be visiting with 2016 WR Tyler Simmons today.

Simmons, a 5-foot-11 senior from McEachern High School (Powder Springs, Ga.) should be the talk of the town Thursday after Saban’s grand entrance.
The Alabama coach is trying to woo Simmons, whom most everyone believes will play for Georgia. So Saban is breaking out a helicopter for what should be the first of many recruiting battles between himself and longtime defensive coordinator Kirby Smart, Georgia’s next head coach.
Simmons runs a 4.41-second 40-yard dash, according to 247Sports. Although he’s just a three-star receiver, the list of teams interested in him is long and distinguished.
And if you’re wondering, yes, Texas A&M is among those teams. No word yet on whether Kevin Sumlin will take his Swagcopter to town to try to one-up Saban.
