Two of Tennessee’s most beloved football figures attended for Saturday’s game at Texas A&M.
Former quarterback Peyton Manning and head coach Phillip Fulmer were both spotted at field level prior to kickoff.

Manning, who retired from the NFL in March, said he planned to attend three of the Vols’ games in June, which means fans can expect him to be at next week’s game against Alabama.

Fulmer was Tennessee’s head coach from 1993-2008 and interim coach during the team’s first three games of the 1992 season. He went 152-52-1 during his tenure with the program, which included a national championship in 1998, two SEC championships (1997, 1998) and six SEC East division titles (1997, 1998, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2007).
Former Texas A&M coach and College Football Hall of Famer R.C. Slocum was also in attendance for Saturday’s game.

Slocum was the Aggies’ head coach from 1989-2002 and had previously worked as an assistant from 1973-1980 and 1982-1988. He led A&M to a 123-47-2 record during 14 seasons and went 78-28-2 against Southwest (1989-95) and Big 12 (1996-2002) conference opponents.
Slocum led the Aggies to three Southwest Championships (1991-93), one Big 12 title (1998) and two first place finishes in the Big 12 South Division (1997-98).
