Can Georgia freshman QB Jacob Eason be the next Matt Stafford?
The Washington native has lived up to the hype thus far in Athens — beating out two upperclassmen for the starting gig. Eason’s flashed a big-time arm to go along with a moxie and quiet confidence.
This description sounds eerily similar to Stafford. While no one’s proclaiming Eason will also be a future No. 1 overall NFL Draft pick, he’s more than held his own as a first-year player when compared to Stafford at the same age:
