As a way to pair his love of the community and the game of football, famed rapper and pop culture icon Snoop Dogg created the Snoop Youth Football League back in 2005.

The league is comprised mostly of children from inner-city areas within Los Angeles. Over 20 current college football athletes once played in the league. Two of the most well-known alums include Kansas City Chiefs receiver De’Anthony Thomas and San Diego Chargers running back Ronnie Hillman.

Another alum of the organization can now be mentioned within this group: 2017 JUCO DB prospect Keisean Nixon.

Nixon — a 3-star athlete at Arizona Western College — opted to sign with South Carolina over Tennessee on Wednesday:

The 6-foot, 200-pound defensive back is considered to be one of the best corner prospects in this class. Nixon is physical, feisty, fast, and is ready to come in right away and impact things for Will Muschamp’s defense.

Acting as a proud uncle, Snoop took to Twitter and congratulated Nixon on his achievement:

The real question persists: Will we see Snoop Dogg this season make an appearance at Williams-Brice Stadium?
