South Carolina removed the lettering at Williams-Brice Stadium for Sunday’s game against Georgia.
The stadium was missing several letters following the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew in Columbia. The letters were inspected and more were found to be loose, so they were removed for safety, according to SEC Network‘s Kaylee Hartung.
