Photos: Tennessee fans line the streets early for first Vol Walk of season
Ahead of its season-opening matchup versus Appalachian State, the Tennessee Volunteers will enter Neyland Stadium amidst a bright Creamsicle sea of orange and white.
Although the contest doesn’t start until 7:30 p.m. ET, it hasn’t stopped thousands of fans from lining the streets in anticipation of the famed ‘Vol Walk.’

The ‘Vol Walk’ officially first made its first appearance on Oct. 20, 1990, ahead of a contest against Alabama. Former head coach Johnny Majors was the architect behind the now-famous walk.
