Vol fans…the wait is finally over.

Kongbo ultimately transferred to Arizona Western Community College, where he developed into the top junior college prospect in the entire country. Programs from all across the country were clamoring for his services — with Butch Jones and Tennessee ultimately winning out.

Listed officially at 6’6″, 270 pounds, Kongbo was unveiled today on the first day of fall practice. At first glance, there’s no question he appears more than ready for the rigors of big-time football in the SEC.

The addition of Kongbo galvanizes arguably the deepest defensive line group in the country. Led by the likes of Derek Barnett, Corey Vereen, Shy Tuttle, Khalil McKenzie, and Kendal Vickers, Tennessee should have absolutely no problem getting after opposing signal-callers in 2016.
