Pro Football Focus names SEC offensive, defensive teams of the week

Week 5 was a busy one for several SEC teams, as conference play started to hit full speed for many squads.
However, only a select few played well enough to earn spots on Pro Football Focus’s SEC offensive and defensive teams of the week.
On offense, LSU C Will Clapp was the highest-rated player, earning a grade of 87.6 despite his team losing 24-21 to the Troy Trojans:

On the defensive unit, Auburn CB Carlton Davis was the highest-rated player, scoring a 96.1 overall grade from PFF:

With even more conference games scheduled for this weekend, it will be interesting to see which players stand out.
Some of the big matchups include LSU-Florida, Alabama-Texas A&M, Georgia-Vanderbilt and Auburn-Ole Miss. As the conference’s top teams continue to separate themselves from the pack, their players should be dominating these lists in the coming weeks.
