Pro Football Focus ranked the Power 5 schools’ special teams units from the 2015 season and on top are the Auburn Tigers.
Power 5 special teams rankings from 2015:

Worst: Maryland Terrapins pic.twitter.com/hVgwf9vuXC— PFF College (@PFF_College) July 29, 2016
Ratings weren’t given out by PFF, but the statistics speak for themselves. Auburn placekicker Daniel Carlson was a finalist for the Lou Groza Award and set numerous school records in the process.
Carlson set records for field goals made (23), consecutive field goals made (16) and most 50-yard field goals made (four). He is heading into his junior season now and has still not missed a point-after-attempt during his career, converting on all 97 of his attempts.
Outside of Carlson, the Tigers still dominated special teams, ranking No. 4 in the country in yards per kickoff return with 27.94. Rudy Ford and Kerryon Johnson were two main contributors in that category a year ago and are back with Auburn entering 2016.
