Pro Football Focus made its All-SEC team and among its choices was a disagreement with the majority of Heisman Trophy voters at running back. And instead of handing a lifetime achievement to QB Dak Prescott, PFF went with Brandon Allen on the strength of big games against Ole Miss and Mississippi State.
Some of PFF’s picks were also different from the Associated Press all-SEC team. PFF also chose a teammate over Vernon Hargreaves III in the secondary, although none of the Florida defensive backs got the nod from the all-SEC coaches team.
And while one projected first-round NFL Draft pick made the first team — Myles Garrett — another, Robert Nkemdiche, did not.
