Although we are just weeks away from the beginning of the 2016 season, Pro Football Focus isn’t finished gathering grades from last season.

PFF, which evaluates and grades NFL and college players, shared its list of the top SEC edge rushers in 2015 on Twitter Monday.

Topping the list is Tennessee junior Derek Barnett, who notched 69 tackles, 12.5 tackles-for-loss and 10 sacks. Barnett earned a “+45.4” grade from PFF, edging out Texas A&M star Myles Garrett, who earned a “+42.8,” for the No. 1 spot. Many believe the Aggies’ junior defensive end is the best pass rusher in the country. Last season, Garrett had 59 tackles, five forced fumbles, 19.5 tackles-for-loss and 11.5 sacks.

Further down the rankings is Missouri’s Charles Harris, who registered seven sacks for the Tigers as a sophomore. Rounding out the Top 5 are a pair of Alabama players. Senior linebacker Tim Williams had 9.5 sacks in 2015, while fellow senior linebacker Ryan Anderson earned the No. 5 spot by earning six sacks last season.
